A story about a young lady in a time where girls had limited options – expected to grow up to be wives, mothers and most of the times abused or broken-hearted.
Fortunately, inspired by her father’s open-mindedness and adventurous spirit she was able to see outside her bubble of existence and use her intelligence and wit to take her on an adventure to Wonderland.
The Alice in Wonderland statue is located just north of the Conservatory Water at East 74th Street, in Central Park. Alice in Wonderland stands eleven feet tall in bronze, surrounded by the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit and a few of her other friends.
‘The only way to achieve the impossible is to believe it is possible’
It is also the story of many women today who have climbed the business ladder to success. Women who are not only wives, mothers but also icons of our society like First Lady Michelle Obama whose most recent initiative is the Let Girls Learn program.
Her Legacy lives on
