The Tallest Mural on 42nd Street

The tallest mural ever created in New York City, located in Midtown is hosted on the wall of the Westin Hotel Grand Central, at 212 east 42nd street (crossing 3rd avenue and 42nd street).

Cuban Born, American Artist Jorge Rodríguez Gerada created a mural for Street Art for Mankind to advocate against child labor and child trafficking.

The murals celebrate the centennial of the International Labor Organization (United Nations agency), and capture key themes of the ILO’s efforts to ensure “decent work” for all, and inspire each one of us to create a better “future of work”.

The mural is part of the #ILO100Murals, a series of five murals created by world renowned international street artists, that will set the course for a contemporary Art Walk, in the streets of Midtown Manhattan.
