The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree is a large Christmas tree placed annually in Rockefeller Center Plaza. The tree is erected in mid November and lit in a public ceremony in late November or early December.
An estimated 125 million people visit the attraction each year. The tree, usually a Norway spruce 69 to 100 feet (21 to 30 m) tall, has been a national tradition each year since 1933. The tree remained on display until Early January.
