Pandemic is in the Air! – Our platform survived ten years in making. We started as SBA directory for Brooklyn and expanded to NYC metropolitan area, following up towards blog and video contents. We tried to cover topics and places from our point of view. Our sites expanded to Events, Jobs, Real Estate and more – giving space to known / unknown business & artists that we loved.
A decade ago Google and Yelp had just started on the very same campaign with similar ideas. In recent days unfortunately, the long ride has come to an end for some of our branches (on our platforms) and we are unable to keep up with the promise of running several websites at the same time.
The pandemic did take effect in New York City – greatly. It is visible everywhere. BK FlatbushAve NYC as always ran on private funding and donations but decided it was the right time to squeeze back into one solid website / platform to continue existing.
