Fort Jay is a ‘coastal star’ fort and the name of a former United States Army post on Governors Island in New York City Harbor.
This will be first building you will see when walk out of the ferry and reach up on the incline.
Lawns in front of you are the one around the fort.
If you turn left you will reach eventually on main entrance with the bridge.
Another entrance is also available on the west side from the Colonels Row.
